Hi-Vis Rain Gear questions
What does EN 343 3:1 mean?
The first digit rates waterproofness (3 is the highest, tested to 8,000 mm) and the second rates breathability (1 is the base level). We also offer 3:3 fabrics for higher breathability.
Do you use PVC?
We offer both PVC and PVC-free PU options; PVC-free fabrics are popular for European buyers with REACH requirements.
What is the minimum order for rain gear?
100 pcs per style and colour on stock shell fabrics. PVC and laminate options are quoted per project because they are made to order.
How are taped seams checked?
Seams are taped and the shell is tested to the hydrostatic head claimed for the fabric, with the seam construction noted in the report. We do not claim a rating the fabric has not been tested to.
Can rain gear be packed for retail?
Yes — poly bag, hang tag, barcode and carton marks. Suits can also ship in a carry bag for distributor stock.
